Should you choose to buy within a beach resort development, you may have the option of joining the condo rental management scheme. However, be prepared to pay 40-50% of your rental income in commission for the management of any apartment holiday homes.

Alternatively, you can join a vacation rentals by owners, which, besides a small, annual members' fee, allow you to keep all your apartment rental income.
